This 2/3 person studio apartment is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Just steps away from the midtown business district, it is only a short walk to the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, Saks Fifth Avenue, Grand Central Terminal, and more.

There are 6 different subway lines within 5 blocks of the property - the closest station is Grand Central, on Lexington Avenue and 42nd Street.

The apartment is on the eleventh floor (there is a lift!) and sleeps 2/3 people with one double bed and a good sleeper sofa. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and pleasing to the eye - there is fine wooden furniture, high-quality textiles, parquet flooring throughout and lots of greenery.

The living area (16ft x 11ft, 4.9m x 3.4m ) is beautifully lit from the wall of windows at the front of the apartment. There are 2 large easy chairs, a coffee table, and a large sleeper sofa equipped with a queen-sized premium "air-flow" mattress.

Across from the sitting area is a handsome entertainment armoire complete with a (recently purchased) 52" flatscreen HD television - cable channels, and a stereo system. Here you will also find a full closet and drawers available for storage.

The kitchen is next to the living room and has all the necessary and expected appliances including a fridge/freezer, gas oven/range, coffee maker, kettle and toaster, as well as a food processor. Being a studio apartment the kitchen isn't big, but it is well laid out and has everything you need.

The sleeping alcove (10ft x 9ft, 3.1m x 2.7m) is in the front of the apartment - imagine the living and sleeping area as an L shape with the windows along the entire short leg of the L and the sleeping alcove in this leg. Here you can sit in a comfy chair, catch a few rays and have a bird's eye view of one of the city's busiest and most prosperous neighborhoods. This cozy nook is framed by bookcases and has a reading lamp as well as side tables.

The sleeping area does have a private feel and is well separated from the rest of the apartment by both architecture and furniture placement. The large double bed, (75" x 54"), fitted with very tasteful and high quality linens, has a top-of-the-line comfort mattress and promises to give you the perfect night's sleep.

The bathroom has a basin, loo, full-sized bathtub and shower.

Wi-fi access is available in this apartment, there is no phone service.

This property is located in a convenient and desirable part of the city - transportation, shopping, dining, and more are all only steps away from the apartment.

If you're in the mood to see some history, check out the Chrysler Building, NYC's most formidable example of Art Deco inspired architecture - it's on 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue and the lobby is open to the public every day.
