The apartment is located north of 59th Street and east of Central Park, a short walk from Museum Mile, a collection of nine of New York's best museums along Central Park. Check out Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim for modern art, the Whitney Museum's American Art Collections, and the The Metropolitan Museum of Art featuring Van Gogh, Monet and Picasso. The Old Carnegie Mansion is home to the Cooper-Hewitt Museum of Design. Don't miss the Frick Collection for a magnificent collection of 19th Century collection of paintings and furniture.
The apartment is on the fifth (European fourth) floor (no lift) and sleeps up to 5, in a bright and open double bedroom, a queen-sized pull-out sofa-bed and separate sleeping area with a single bed. There is one bathroom. It is ideal for two couples and a child, for a family with 2 or 3 children, or for multiple business travellers who need their own privacy. The property is very calm, with full spectrum lighting throughout and traditional décor that is spiced with an Asian flair. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The living room (15ft6 x 13ft, 4.7m x 4m ) has a pull-out sofa-bed, (6ft6 x 5ft) and a beautiful black marble coffee table which can adjust from being a crescent shape to a full round table - very useful for dining / work purposes.
There is a large television with cable channels and DVD/VCR player, a stereo and internet access here as well. This room also has a sleeping area with a 3ft4 single bed separated from the living room by two attractive screens that give very good privacy.
There is DSL internet access and a phone available for local and long distance calls.

The kitchen has all the expected appliances including a fridge/freezer, gas oven/range, coffee maker, kettle and toaster as well as a dishwasher. A very cheerful dining area is located here, with a large round table and 4 chairs - perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee, or perhaps a take-away dinner from one of the many restaurants in the neighbourhood

The bedroom (11ft x 9ft6, 3.4m x 2.9m) has a double bed (6ft3 x 4ft6) with ample drawers and a full closet available for storage, as well as a writing desk and chair. The room is light and comfortable, with crisp cool bed-linen and tasteful artwork on the walls. The bathroom has a full bathtub, an overhead shower, wash basin and loo.

This apartment is ideally situated for those who want to enjoy all that the Upper East Side has to offer. Relax with drinks or a late night snack at The Lenox Room on 74th street, they have a very comfortable lounge with delicious appetizers and a killer martini list.
Try some of the best Thai food in the city at Penang, on 83rd. Street, or head to Baluchi's on 82nd Street for some amazing Indian food. For a more traditional meal, head over to The Dining Room on 79th street where their menu of American cuisine won them a Best Restaurant Award by the NY Times.
If you prefer to stay in you must visit Agata & Valentina, one block away on 79th Street, where you will find amazing ready-made foods as well as some of the most exotic cheeses in the world - over 350 to choose from at the counter! This gourmet food market will have you coming back for more and more.
