This 4/7 person, 2 bedroom apartment is beautifully located between Manhattan's trendy Lower East Side, Little Italy and the famous East Village. The property is across the street from the Sara D. Roosevelt Park, where you will find a charming café Little Veselka, a mini version of the famous Eastern European nosh spot in the East Village. At this 24 hour kiosk you can grab your morning coffee, relax at the outside tables with one of many delicious pastries, or after a night of live music and drinks at the famous Bowery Ballroom (5 blocks away at Delancy Street and Bowery), late night snack on one of many tasty sandwiches. The subway is 30 seconds away, directly across the street from your apartment.

The two bedroom apartment is located on the third floor (no lift, but very short flights) and sleeps 4 to 7 in two double bedrooms, a full-sized futon (for 2), and an extra (blow-up) bed if need be.

This is a beautiful place to stay - clean and simple. With exposed brick walls and wood floors throughout, the décor is modern with an emphasis on comfort.

The living area (14ft3 x 10ft9, 4.3m x 3.3m ) has a sofa / full-sized futon, a large glass coffee table and a writing desk with 2 chairs. The décor is unmistakably classic NY - the beautiful hardwood floors and exposed brick walls are the focal points of this space. The furniture is simple and comfortable. There is also a television with local channels as well as wi-fi broadband internet access. There is no phone service in this property.

The kitchen is completely serviceable and has everything you need to prepare a light meal. There is a gas range, microwave, toaster oven, fridge/freezer and coffee maker.


This kitchen does not have an oven - the space is better suited to quick and easy cooking. There is no dining area to speak of, however there is ample room for eating in the living area.

The first bedroom (11ft9 x 6ft6, 3.6m x 2m) is located to the left of the living area, and has a large double bed (80"x 60", 1.5m wide) and a full closet available for storage. The décor is clean and understated, with exposed brick walls, starched white linens and a view from the window to the classic New York street scene below.

The second bedroom (12ft3 x 6ft6, 3.75m x 2m) is to the right of the living area. It has a large double bed (80" x 60", 1.5m wide) and a full closet as well. The décor is consistent with the other bedroom: clean, light, and classically comfortable.

The newly renovated bathroom has a bathtub, a handheld overhead shower, a wash basin and loo.

This is a No Smoking property.

The area has numerous restaurants to choose from. Try a quick and easy sandwich from the famous Katz's Deli, opened in 1888, (205 Houston Street, 1 block away).

Alternatively head to Oliva on the corner of Houston and Allen for a delicious and inexpensive night of tapas and sangria. Be sure to get there early, the place isn't huge, and it fills up quick with savvy locals!

For the trendy Lower East Side experience, try Stanton Social, right around the corner on Stanton between Orchard and Ludlow Streets. They have a very eclectic menu of modern small plates as well as the most unique and innovative cocktail list in the city. Don't forget about Little Italy while you're in the area - try Umberto's Clam House, a short walk away on the corner of Mulberry and Broome Streets, opened in 1972 this is an old school original not to be missed!
