Location, location, location! This 2/4 person loft studio apartment is ideally situated at the official beginning of "downtown", on 14th Street. It's just 3 blocks to Union Square , only 10 blocks away from NYU and Washington Square Park, and a short walk to Greenwich Village. There are 6 different subway lines within 3 blocks of the property - the closest station is at Union Square, on 14th Street and Broadway, only 3 blocks away.
This affordable and comfortable studio is on the 5th floor of a walk-up, sleeps 2/4 with one double loft bed and 1 large sleeper sofa. Ideal for students, small families or couples, the location is superb making it convenient to virtually every neighborhood in the city.

Upon entering the property you are in the living area (16ft x 13ft, 4.9m x 4m) with hardwood floors, an oriental rug, high pale yellow walls and lots of light from the windows at the front of the apartment.

There is a large sleeper sofa in the center of the room with an adjacent easy chair. In the corner next to the window is a wooden bookshelf and desk with chair - perfect for catching up on your emails, or just checking out the scene on the busy sidewalk below. Against the front wall, between the windows there is a large dresser available for storage as well as a 27" TV and stereo. The space feels very open and comfortable: with tall ceilings, a stylish ceiling fan, and Americana art hung high on the walls.

The retro chic kitchenette is directly across from the sofa, complete with counter and two leather and chrome stools. It is efficient outfitted with the expected appliances: gas oven and range, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker.

The loft bedroom(12ft6 x 6ft, 3.8m x 1.8m) is located on the left side of the apartment, above the kitchen and across from the living area.

It is easily accessed by an eight-rung ladder, from which, upon climbing, you will see your extra large, double loft bed (80"x 60", 2m x 1.5m) with a nightstand and lamp. These cozy sleeping quarters are soothingly decorated with a lush blue velvet bed-set and a carpet to match.

The cheery, yellow bathroom is located beneath the loft bedroom. It has a basin, loo, bathtub and shower.
This property has local cable channels and high speed internet access. There is no phone service available.
This property is ideal for those who enjoy being in the center of it all. This is convenience at a New Yorker's pace!
