Let there be light! Tasteful and spacious, tall windows and white walls add to the feel of space. It's easy to relax in this clean and contemporary apartment which is decorated with simple, modern pieces and a tasteful mix of vintage and modern art, beautifully accented by a lovely private terrace with city views and room to boot.
The first room you enter is the spacious living room (16ft9 x 14ft, 5.1m x 4.3m), with vivid original art on clean white walls. Here there is a smart, classic, well-sized couch (84"), an easy chair, and a glass coffee table. From any seat you have a view of the city all around, as well as your terrace.
For entertainment there is no television in the living room; the owner is a musician and keeps a library of over 100,000 songs available for use with his music/stereo system in the corner of the room.

|
The living room opens up onto the dining area (7ft6 x 7ft9, 2.3m x 2.4m); there is a sizeable wooden table and 4 comfortable wooden chairs in a bright corner framed by lofty windows and retro artwork. From here you have a sky-high view of Second Avenue, and a perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful feel of the space. The dining area looks across into the spacious kitchen area.

The sunny and sparkling kitchen is outfitted with new, top-of-the-line appliances, granite countertops and white cabinets. The appliances include a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, espresso machine and Cuisinart food processor.

Located in the back of the apartment, the bedroom (16ft x 12ft9, 4.9m x 3.9m) is the ultimate in bliss… The large double bed (80" x 60") has a comfortable mattress and is fitted with beautiful, high quality linens. There is a wall of windows where you can take in the skyscraper views; or shut the blinds, lie back and watch the large television, across from the bed while you drift off to sleep. There are drawers and closet space is available for storage. The newly renovated bathroom has a washbasin, loo and a full bathtub with an overhead shower.
The property has 24 hour doorman service, laundry/valet facilities available on-site, as well as a parking garage across the street. Wi-fi computer access is available and there is a telephone available (US calls only). The music system in the apartment is delicate and fragile; therefore the owner requests children to be 12 years or older.
