This stunning one bedroom artist's oasis is a hidden treasure in the heart of SoHo, within blocks of Little Italy, NoLita, the East Village, China Town and the Lower East Side. It's the perfect spot to launch a tour of downtown Manhattan but also convenient to many other parts of the city. There are 3 subway stations with access to 5 different train lines within 4 blocks of the property. The closest station is right around the corner on Spring Street.

The apartment is located on the fifth floor – it's a walk up, but the trip is well worth it! With wooden floors throughout, a bathroom skylight and jacuzzi, the apartment occupies the entire fifth floor and was custom built on the building's rooftop expressly for the owner. It sleeps up to 3 with a king sized bed and ample room for an air mattress, if needed.

This apartment has high speed internet with wi-fi access. There is phone service available (domestic, U.S. calls only)

The apartment opens into a roomy living area (17ft9 x 15ft, 5.4m x 4.6m) with a large L shaped sectional sofa in golden ultrasuede that rests in the corner behind a coffee table composed of 4 bronze and ochre occasional tables. Opposite sits a brown leather easy chair and a bookcase that houses a large, flat screen high definition television.

The room is flooded with light through the large glass doors to the terrace located between the easy chair and bookcase. Plants, indoors and outside, add to the tremendous feeling of openness and space which is complimented by the short set of 5 stairs that lead down to the open dining room on the ½ floor below.

The spacious dining room (21ft x 18ft, 5.5m x 6.4m) has a large oval wooden table and 4 comfortable and cheerfully covered chairs.

Across from the dining room is the kitchen. Cook with a view! The room has windows on both sides, so there is plenty to look at while you're waiting for your water to boil. With a design aesthetic that fits in with the rest of the apartment, this smart kitchen has white countertops and cabinets and is outfitted with top of the line appliances including a fridge/freezer, gas oven, range, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, espresso/cappuccino machine and kettle.

To the left of the dining room, separated by a high partition wall is the bedroom (13ft6 x 12ft9, 4.1m x 3.9m).

This peaceful room boasts an extra large, king-sized double bed (80" x 76") that is beautifully outfitted with high quality crisp white bedding.

There are simple tables on either side with accenting reading lamps.

This room also offers a huge walk-in closet and an exercise bike.

The enormous bathroom (14ft3 x 7ft9, 4.3m x 2.4m) is ensuite and has a washbasin, loo, and a fabulous 4 person hot tub / Jucuzzi with a handheld shower. Here there is also a washer and dryer.

The most impressive part of this truly special property is the private terrace. With a wooden deck and trelliswork throughout, this beautifully landscaped 650 sq ft retreat is the picture of serenity. There are rows of flowers all around, full of color and green. Overhead is with more of the same…

With two separate "rooms", this spacious private rooftop has 2 chaise lounges, a long wooden table with 6 chairs, and a view that will take your breath away.
