This 2/5 person apartment is located in Manhattan's Upper East Side, steps from the subway and access to local and express trains. |
|
It is convenient to almost every part of the city; just three stations away from Grand Central Terminal, the UN, and only 4 stops from Times Square, Union Square and more. The immediate neighbourhood is full of coffee shops, restaurants, and all sorts of boutiques. The nearest subway station is just 2 blocks away at 96th Street and Lexington Avenue.
The spacious 6th floor apartment (there is a lift) comfortably sleeps up to 5 in large double bedroom, a large sofa bed and 2 convertible singles. Smart urban living!
Tasteful and spacious, the owner grew up in Japan and brought that same simple, adaptable, well thought out design philosophy to the Big Apple. With lots of light and space, this comfortable one bedroom "apartment with a view" is perfect for couples, families, small groups of friends and business travelers alike.

The front door opens on to a hallway which leads to the large, comfortable living room (12ft x 23ft6, 3.9m x 7.2m). The first thing you'll notice is a handsome tufted black leather sofa (that pulls out to a full sized double bed), which is nicely framed by two side tables and two modern design lamps. In front of the sofa is a coffee table, and there are two large easy chairs that each convert to single beds.
Whether it is looking out of the large windowed wall to the rear of the room, or across from the sitting area where you will find a large, 40" flat screen high definition television, you'll enjoy the view!
If you are in town on business there is a small work area, hidden by a screen at the very back of the room, with computer, shredder and printer. There are many drawers and cabinets here available for storage.

Take a short walk over to Fifth Avenue and you'll find yourself in the middle of NYC's famed "Museum Mile".
You could start with a visit to the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, then stroll down to our favourite Neue Gallerie for some Gustav Klimpt and lunch, and finish your whirlwind day of culture with a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Still hungry for more? Don't worry, there are seven others to visit, including the Goethe Institute, The Frick, and The Museum of the City of New York.
If you're lucky enough to be here the second Tuesday in June, you can attend the Museum Mile Music Festival and enjoy all of the music, art, culture, and museums for free!
This is a No Smoking property.
