This one bedroom apartment is ideally located between Manhattan's bustling Midtown and Columbus Circle. The apartment is in a luxury, doorman controlled, building and offers a peaceful experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner has a beautiful art collection that is stylishly displayed throughout the space. The neighborhood is convenient and full of amenities - the nearest subway is only 3 blocks away, on 57th Street and Seventh Avenue - and there is a glorious private roof deck to be enjoyed - 32 floors up!
The apartment, with parquet wooden flooring throughout, is on the seventeenth floor of a recently renovated post-war building and sleeps 4 in one bedroom and a sofa-bed.

The entrance hallway (9ft x 5ft6, 2.75m x 1.7m) is an attractive welcoming area adorned with antique mirrors and art. Here there is a working area - desk and chair with broadband internet access and a telephone (domestic calls only).
The living room (11ft x 10ft9, 3.35m x 3.3m ) is simple but smart with the emphasis on a beautiful 200 year old Japanese screen and surrounding artwork. There is a sleeper sofa (5ft wide mattress), a fully featured massage chair (just as good as the real thing!), a TV with cable channels and a stereo system. The room also has a sleek dining area with a glass table and 4 chairs.

The area is superb, with much to do and see close by. For a different cultural experience, check out the Ed Sullivan Theatre, literally around the corner, and go see David Letterman live!
For a true taste of New York, have a slice of pizza at Original Ray's Pizza (1710 Broadway - between 54th and 55th Streets). For a fancier meal, but still on the light side, head to the Petrossian Café and Boutique ( 911, 7th Avenue - between 57th and 58th Streets). This famed purveyor of caviar, open since the 1920s, has opened a dazzling café and boutique offering an array of delicacies such as smoked fish, foie gras, rich chocolates, and of course caviar.
For brunch or dinner, try Rue 57 (57th Street and 7th Avenue). It's a fun and lively Parisian style bistro / sushi spot with deluxe décor, a delicious raw bar and a lovely menu full of bistro classics - and some of the best people watching in the city.
This is a No Smoking property.
