This 2-4 person, studio apartment is located right in the middle of Manhattan's Battery Park, steps away from famed Stone Street in Manhattan's Financial District. Since 1996 the Stone Street Historic District - a large portion of the street and surrounding area, has been protected by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission and is now a pedestrian-only area. This historic district boasts several restaurants and bars and has outdoor dining when the weather permits. The property is conveniently located - there are 3 different subway stations all within 3 minutes of the apartment, the closest right around the corner on Rector Street.

The studio is located on the seventh floor (there is an elevator!) of a luxury, doorman-controlled building. It sleeps up to 4 in a large double bed with ample room for an air mattress or two, if needed. This apartment is ideal for a family with 1 or 2 children, for couples looking for more than a hotel room, or for someone on temporary business assignment needing to be close to their work. The property is modern and simple; it boasts a brand new kitchen with granite countertops, sleek wooden cabinets, stainless steel appliances and fine china available for guests use. The overall feel of the place is "downtown chic".

The sleeping area (12ft9 x 11ft3, 3.9m x 3.4m) has a large double bed (80" x 60") and a full closet available for storage as well as a round table with 2 chairs - a good space for working or eating. There is also a flat screen television with cable channels.

There is wi-fi broadband internet access, but no phone service, available in this property.

The kitchen has all new modern appliances including a fridge/freezer, gas oven/range, coffee maker, kettle and toaster, as well as a dishwasher. The bathroom has a full bathtub, overhead shower, wash basin and loo.

In the heart of exciting Lower Manhattan, this property is ideally situated and boasts every amenity you could ask for - there is a free gym on-site available for guests use and a parking garage in the building. There are laundry facilities and valet service is available.

Relax in one of 2 large, quiet and comfortable lounges with wi-fi access. Play ping-pong with the kids in the gaming area, or take a walk to the Waterfront Esplanade, right around the corner on Albany Street.

Check out Steamers' Landing, at 375 South End Avenue - this classic seafood spot boasts views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. Try a crab cake sandwich or seafood pizza for lunch on one of their 2 outdoor terraces. Or stop by for dinner and treat yourself to their famous "Surf and Turf".

While in this neighborhood, don't forget to check out New York's most famous discount designer department store, Century 21 on Cortlandt Street - this is where savvy New Yorkers go for the best deals - just make sure to get there early, that way you'll have time to visit nearby South Street Seaport, where you can catch a cruise to Ellis Island, or take a historic tour of Lower Manhattan.

This is a No Smoking property.
